Senior employability adviser

What you will be doing

Our employability advisers are not ordinary process-only case managers but process leads. That goes further than watching over the obligations set by the Gatekeeper Improvement Act. Together with the occupational physician you are involved in the substance of the file, you make use of reintegration opportunities, and you work on recovery early with suitable support. You visit the workplace and are in frequent contact with employee and employer. The linchpin of the whole absence process.

As a senior you are also involved in complex reintegration questions, you guide junior employability advisers, and together with our work and organisational psychologists you advise clients on absence policy and on bringing absence down.

Who we are looking for

• Substantial experience in managing absence, as a senior absence case manager at an occupational health service or from an HR role.
• A degree-level way of working and thinking, possibly with a case manager or labour expert qualification on top.
• You know the Gatekeeper Improvement Act and the UWV guidelines inside out.
• Collegial and a strong communicator: you advise employers, colleagues and occupational physicians, and you keep to what you agree.
• Pragmatic: by asking the right questions you make use of every reintegration option, and you build a file that holds up under the Act.

What we offer

• A contract for up to 32 hours per week.
• Salary indication on a full-time basis: 3,650 to 4,500 euros gross per month, depending on experience.
• Up to half your hours from home, with the equipment you need for it.
• Where it is needed, a lease car is among the options.
