Occupational physicians who have seen the floor for themselves
Dokter Beter puts occupational physicians where absence arises: at your premises. Not a portal with a phone number, but a physician with a face who gets to know your organisation.
Who we are
We put the physician back into the company
Most occupational health services work from consultation rooms of their own. The employee travels, waits weeks for an appointment and sees a different physician each time. The manager hears the advice through a written report.
We turn that around. Our occupational physicians hold consultations at your own premises, by the half-day or the full day, as often as needed. So they know the roles, the workplaces and the people, and can tell the manager the same day what is and is not possible.
Dokter Beter works with Arbo Concern, a certified occupational health service. Our head office is in Katwijk aan Zee, with branch offices across the Netherlands. Our physicians work from their own region.
“We had an occupational health service with a portal. Now we have a physician with a face. Absence is shorter and the mood around it is different.”
What we stand for
Four choices that explain the rest
The physician comes to you
With a physician on site, contact with employees and managers is direct and personal, rather than by phone or through a report. That is why our physicians hold consultations at your own premises, among the people it concerns.
One regular physician per client
The same physician sees your people and knows the roles and the managers. That makes the advice workable rather than general.
Physicians employed, not hired in
Our occupational physicians are BIG-registered and employed by Arbo Concern, not hired in per assignment. During holidays cover is arranged within our own team, during sickness as soon as reasonably possible.
Paying for what you use
You pay per half-day or per day. The work done in that time, such as drawing up an FML capacity list or a problem analysis under the Gatekeeper Improvement Act, is included in the rate. As absence comes down, you scale back.
Quality
What we have ourselves assessed on
Through Arbo Concern, a certified occupational health service, you meet the Working Conditions Act.
The accreditations are assessed externally every year.
- ISO 9001The international standard for quality management. Our processes are documented and assessed externally.
- SBCACertification for occupational health services. Through Arbo Concern, it means you meet what the Working Conditions Act requires of an occupational health service.
- NEN 7510The standard for information security in healthcare. Medical files are kept separate from what the employer may see.
- Blik op WerkThe accreditation for providers in work and health, with an annual assessment and a client satisfaction survey.
